Request For Proposals Availability
The Middle Flint Workforce Development Board is requesting proposals for Workforce Innovations Opportunities Act (WIOA) services for the following counties; Crisp, Dooly, Macon, Marion, Schley, Sumter, Taylor, and Webster.
Request For Proposals (RFP’s) for the following WIOA services will be available beginning on March 1, 2021 for One Stop Operator Services, On-The-Job Training, Youth Services, and Individual Training Account (ITA Career Services and Case Management. Proposals must be submitted to River Valley Regional Commission (RVRC), 228 West Lamar Street, Americus, GA 31709. No electronic submissions of RFPs will be accepted. Proposal submission deadline is Friday, April 9, 2021 by 2:00 p.m. Proposal(s) received after this date and time will be determined “unresponsive” and will not be disqualified for consideration of funding.

WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT BOARD The Middle Flint Workforce Development Board (WDB) provides local governance, oversight and policy guidance for WIOA services in the area. The Middle Flint WBD consist of members of the eight-county area and represents individuals from the private employment sector, education, community-based, organized labor, economic development, and vocational rehabilitation. River Valley Regional Commission (RVRC) is appointed by the Middle Flint Workforce Development Board to serve as the WIOA administrative entity and grant recipient for WIOA funds.
